Set in New Swan Shakespere Festival's compact outdoor theater space, The Tempest follows a group of Italian nobles stranded on an enchanted island.

I was responsible for the puppets in this production. The director's approach was that the puppets were "tribal," hand-made looking, as if they were crafted from materials found naturally on the island the story takes place on. Expository information was told almost entirely through shadow puppetry.
